Legado Namuli’s support of community health activists to educate Namuli’s residents on methods of prevention has become an integrated piece of the everyday work with communities. Community health activists’ messaging is present at meetings and throughout the communities, using the tools and resources provided through the collaboration with the District Health Authority to keep the residents of Namuli safe. All meetings are held using masks and social distancing practices.
These measures have allowed conservation agriculture, beekeeping and land tenure activities to continue, as community members show their leadership and commitment to building towards a shared vision for their future.
