What do a song, a puppet show, and a mountain ecosystem have in common? As it turns out, a great deal.

Legado: Namuli and Rare just partnered to host a Campaigning for Conservation program on Namuli in September 2017. This training was designed to support our field team as they work with local Namuli communities to stop the current rate of deforestation in critical rainforest. Rare has 25 years of experience in over 50 countries and specializes in behavior change.

“Conservation is about people, their attitudes and behaviors. Change these, and you can change the world.” (Rare motto).

Our Campaigning for Conservation Workshop provided hands-on training in the practical skills necessary to plan, design, create and run an effective behavior change campaign. Legado: Namuli’s field team is now using various pieces of campaign, such as the song above, to inspire Namuli’s communities to create a future where people and nature thrive together.
