Osman is a specialist in impact measurement, innovation, and organizational strategy. He has extensive experience in both private and public sector roles across Pakistan, Sub-Saharan Africa, and beyond. His work spans human capital development, extractive industries, financial inclusion, and aligning private sector financing with impact goals. Osman actively contributes to practical impact measurement methods.

His climate focus encompasses energy systems, community-driven change, and food security. Examples of past work include developing financing and technological strategies on electrification, co-designing programs with federal and local governments for poverty alleviation and public engagement, and developed technological tools for climate-smart agriculture.

Osman held leadership roles at organizations like Innovations for Poverty Action, Instiglio, Arifu, and Nexleaf Analytics. He co-built departments within impact-focused companies such as LeapFrog Investments, Abraaj Group, and The Citizen’s Foundation.

Osman holds a Masters’ in Development Economics from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Economics and Finance from McGill University.
